Digital rendering by Graham Rouse of a kaleidoscopic view of a dress MadeWithBalloons by Anna Nikitina.

This “Orange Blossom MadeWithBalloons™” is a kaleidoscopic rendering I constructed in Photoshop from an earlier rendering I made of a balloon dress by Anna Nikitina.

"ROUSEings" logo-iconLast year I discovered a picture of an orange balloon dress made by  Anna Nikitina.  I liked the sculptured form and sensuous texture from the weave pattern. I kept having visions of it without the background clutter, so I did a rendering of my own derived from that original snapshot. You can see the result in a picture below.
Recently, I ran across that rendering and it stirred new visions.  The billowing skirt reminded me of a tulip turned upside down.  Then I imagined that orange tulip as only one petal in a larger flower. Then I wondered what wallpaper or gift wrap might look like filled with those orange blossoms.  Then I resolved to create that flower.  And I did.
But it seemed such a jewel that I could imagine it  set as a ring  or as a glittering series of jewels on a necklace or maybe as the cover for a prized jewelry box.  Maybe it could be reproduced as a broach worn on an exclusive gown at an elegant ball.
Then I decided to share it with you set in a frame and matted with a textured background of green.  I hope you enjoy it and that it stirs your imagination.
Maybe you will imagine it in some new light; maybe in some new setting, maybe in some new form rendered by you.  Maybe you will re-imagine some of your own balloon creations as they might appear with other backgrounds, in other settings or maybe rendered as jewelry or as solid sculptures that could last for generations.
Aahh yes,  wouldn’t it be great to make such sculptures of air that they would be worthy of lasting for generations?  And, we do have that possibility when we share our imaginations “MadeWithBalloons™”.

I like the sculptured form and sensuous weave patterns of this balloon dress by Anna Nikitina. It inspired me to produce this edited version of the original photo.
