"We Love Design" in balloon text by Peter Tarka

Typography and Balloons; there seems to be a conversation going on between them.

On the balloon side, we most often see influence coming our way as manufacturers seek to make it easier for balloon artists and decorators to spell out their messages.

In the Illustration above, however, we see the influence of balloons upon master typographer Peter Tarka as he celebrates his love of design with a balloon inspired font.

Most of the balloons are shaped like #260 or #350 balloons, but they carry colors and shine like foil balloons. You can even see the reflection of the studio in the round balloon at the top center of the display.

It is a particularly festive display, with confetti and round balloons and even a few mystery bubbles to add to the atmosphere. Does it suggest New Year’s Eve to you as it does to me?

MMMmmnnn…. How am I going to put this creative image to work for me? How about you? We will see….  ..   .

Meanwhile, my thanks go out to Peter Tarka for his contribution to the conversation between typography and balloons and for his inspiring presentation of his love of design.
